Top Tips for a Perfect Wedding Morning

Pendrell Hall is a stunning West Midlands wedding venue with an experienced team of Events Managers on hand to help with every stage of your wedding planning. Having been at ground zero on quite a few wedding mornings, here are their top tips on how to stay calm, enjoy every moment and set yourself up for a fantastic wedding day:

Take a Moment

I know it sounds silly but after months of planning your wedding, thinking about every detail, making all those decisions… it can be pretty surreal when your wedding day actually arrives! Make sure that you take a moment for yourself to pause, inhale deeply and remind yourself to relax and appreciate every moment.

Get Ready at the Wedding Venue

One of the benefits of getting married at Pendrell Hall in the West Midlands is that you can get ready in our fabulous ‘Love is Enough’ bridal preparation suite. Getting ready at the wedding venue means that you won’t be worrying about whether the wedding cars turn up on time or how you’re going to negotiate getting in and out of a car in your wedding dress; you’re already where you need to be; you can descend the elegant oak staircase to the ceremony room completely unruffled at your leisure and because Pendrell Hall is an exclusive use venue, you can relish the sensation of having the whole place to yourselves.

Bomb Sites don’t Make Great Backdrops!

Most wedding photographers try to be as unobtrusive as possible as you’re getting ready for your wedding; they’ll dip into the bridal preparation suite now and again to get some lovely pictures of you getting ready and most of the time you won’t even notice they’re there. It’s worthwhile asking one of your bridal party to take responsibility for keeping the bridal preparation suite relatively tidy; half eaten sandwiches and an explosion of shoeboxes, make-up and underwear is not the best backdrop for your photos!

Medicinal Purposes Only!

Pendrell Hall is a no corkage wedding venue in the West Midlands; this means that you can supply all your daytime drinks for the wedding and we don’t charge a corkage fee; we will however, chill your drinks and serve them for you, having supplied all the appropriate glassware and the smiling waiters!

A glass of bubbly to steady the nerves on your wedding morning therefore seems most sensible; just make sure you don’t get carried away. You will be light headed with anticipation anyway, our advice would be to balance the bubbly with plenty water to keep you hydrated.

Make Time for your Dad

Most parents have been involved to some degree or another in your wedding planning and they’ll share your excitement on the wedding morning. Your Dad may well share your trepidation as the ceremony time approaches, especially if he’s walking you down the aisle. Make sure that you leave enough time to share a private moment with your Dad before the ceremony, we’ve seen enough moist eyes to know just how proud of you he’ll be.
