About Joanna Evans Cake Design
I design, bake and decorate bespoke wedding cakes including semi naked and sugar paste covered cakes, offering a range of flavours from my studio in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. I also can supply favours in the form of cupcakes, macaroons, and decorated biscuits. I offer hand made sugar flowers and foliage which can compliment any colour, any flower, at any time of the year. Creating realistic flowers, leaves, & berries is a passion of mine and there is nothing nicer when clients believe they are real. If sugar flowers are requested we also have an additional service where we present the flowers along with any topper in box frame for you to keep.

What makes me most passionate about creating wedding cakes is the personal touch that goes into each one. I create a memorable experience for you by listening and understanding your vision, and by establishing a comfortable and trustworthy relationship I can blend my creativity with your ideas and create a harmonious and exceptional wedding cake - one that will look stunning on the outside, and also taste amazing on the inside. I like to add little special touches; one of those being a "Cake box in Bed" for your venue to cut a couple of slices of your wedding cake flavours and place into the box so you won't miss out on it!

I love weddings, two families coming together and a nice big party! It is important to me that during, what can be a stressful time, I can provide an experience which will be one of the treasured memories of wedding preparations.
