For Goodness Cake makes cakes that taste as good as they look.
We provide a bespoke design service, which takes into account your colours, venue, theme, flowers, style and decorations to create your perfect wedding cake. Every style of cake is offered , including the natural naked / semi-naked / buttercream finished cakes, fully iced showstopping centrepieces, towering displays of delicious cupcakes and desert treats, or novelty themed personalized cakes.
I tend to specialise in the more natural cakes, decorated with fresh flowers and seasonal berries which sit perfectly in a rural barn setting.
All flavours of cake are offered and as part of the service you will receive a postal box of 9 different flavours of cake. These sample boxes are free of charge and will give you an idea of what our cakes taste like. All dietary requirements can be catered for.

I've been making wedding cakes full-time for the last 10 years. I have lots of experience in working with couples, and in creating great working relationships with suppliers and venues.
Planning a wedding and knowing where to start to design a wedding cake can be a little overwhelming. There is so much choice... you can have whatever you would like, but how do you know what you like?, - especially at the beginning of the process. We start with a chat about what you've already got planned for the wedding and if there is a sort of feel or theme that you would like to create. I give ideas, send images over, and give you an approx quote. Your quote includes the delivery and set up of the cake on your wedding day. A slot in the diary can be booked, without having a definite design in place... it takes the pressure off until you feel ready.
I answer messages as quickly as I can, make suggestions, and will post out a free sample box of cake flavours for you to try before you book.
Making Memories
I love the fact that every couple has their own unique style and ideas for their wedding cake. This means that i very rarely make the same cake twice.
I love it when a couple decides to really personalize their cake by making them quirky, or by adding little models etc... I've made lots of brides and grooms, many family cats, dogs, horses, farm animals and even a tortoise!
I like to think that booking the wedding cake is one of the best parts of planning a wedding.... the grooms definitely play a more active role in this bit!
