Elegant Affair are a family run business offering venue decor from chair cover and sash hire, to table decor, to light up props and even a mobile bar tuk tuk. Our range of items is constantly growing and we’ve recently moved premises to accommodate all of our lovely new stock. We offer the full service from your very first appointment to the actual day. You can come to see us for as many consultations as you like, whether you change your mind from the first appointment or just need a refresher 6 months later, come down to see us where we will be happy to go through it all again for you. On the big day we will arrive on the morning of your Wedding to set everything up for you, we will then return the following day to remove it all, meaning you do not need to do a thing other than enjoy yourself. We aim to take the stress out of dressing your venue and our many 5* recommendations confirm this. We understand the importance of attention to detail and this is reflected in our work.
There’s a lot of tough competition out there in the world of venue dressing, so we constantly have to be on the look out for new designs and new props to bring to the market. Where possible we will make a lot of our items ourselves, meaning they are unique and truly fabulous. No two people are the same, so why should their Wedding day be? By this we mean we tailor our centrepieces to match your themes and colours and to make them different to the last Wedding. Where possible we will always try to accommodate our clients wishes, if this means buying in new items or making something bespoke for them, then that is what we will do. We operate on an appointment only basis meaning during your consultation you can rest assured you have our undivided attention with no interruptions. We have a large warehouse on site so we are able to demonstrate different table decor styles until you are completely satisfied with your choices, and you can see our props in person.
I married my soulmate and best friend back in 2013 and I have to admit I was pretty clueless when it came to Weddings back then. That being said I pretty much did everything myself, from the Wedding Cake to the Wedding Flowers to the Table Decor. I thoroughly enjoyed it and that was it, I’d been bitten by the Wedding bug. So when my Wedding day was over and I no longer had any planning to do, I missed it a lot and I felt a little bit lost. I carried on my day to day work life and then in 2016 a life changing opportunity came about and I grabbed it with both hands. The venue dressing business that dressed the chairs for my Wedding was up for sale, and to cut a long story short, I bought it and handed my notice in at work all within 1 week. I now have Weddings back in my life and I absolutely love it, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else, and as cliche as it may sound, it really is a passion and when you love what you do, it’s no longer work, it’s a lifestyle choice 🙂
