About Alex Ford Photography
I'm Alex and I bloody love weddings. They are always full of happy people, and photographing happy people is something that just makes me happy. My aim is to capture the moments and the realness of your wedding day. I want you to be able to look back on the pictures and see yourselves and your friends and family - not someone who looks like you in a posh frock.
I'm not into posing - I know how being told how to stand can make you feel - unnatural and, well, just not you - so my biggest aim is to ban boring photos and capture your big day is by a candid, natural and fun documentary style, where you are relaxed and being yourselves, with everyone at your wedding feeling at ease and comfortable with me being about photographing their crazy antics and having fun.

My job is to get the very best pictures possible for you on your wedding day - that's what you've booked me for, but I also have a magic pouch with all the sort of things that you might need to help you solve any problem during the day - blister plasters, pins and clips, glue, tape - even needle and thread to repair a dress that might lose a vital button!
What I really do best though is work hard to get to know you before the wedding and put you at ease - because I want you to be able to be relaxed and enjoy your wedding day, not worrying about what you are going to be doing. My job isn't just this though, I am there to make your day as stress-free as possible, to ensure that you are put at the centre of everything that goes on and that everything that you have worked so hard to plan for is just as perfect as it can be. My very favourite thing is to get onto the dance floor with you and your guests and party the night away recording that fun and happiness for ever!
