About Emma Shackleton - Skin • Hair • Make-Up
As well as a hair and make-up artist, specialising in weddings, I am also a Dermalogica Skincare Expert Therapist. Having had great success with Dermalogica personally, I wanted to share my passion for skincare in my work with clients and in 2015, having gained numerous qualifications, I was proud to expand my business to include Dermalogica Skin Treatments and products. I offer skin consultations and services to my brides to get them looking & feeling fabulous for their big day.
I have a strong hairdressing background with Toni & Guy hairdressing and studied makeup at The London School of Beauty amongst other independent courses. In 2009 I decided to establish my own business and quickly began to work around 50 weddings a year. My favourite products to work with include Dermalogica, Illamasqua and Urban Decay among other cruelty-free brands. I have been featured in "You & Your Wedding Magazine"...And worked on hair and makeup for an International TV coffee advertisement.

My style of my work is soft and relaxed which is why most of my brides come to me. I’m not about making you look like someone else, just like the best version of you. I totally love my job and working with my beautiful brides, each with their own unique and amazing stories.
Having not had the smoothest of starts to my own wedding day, 16 years ago, it is my personal mission to ensure that my brides are calm and relaxed. They are the most important person on the day to me and I will do anything I can to help things run smoothly. In the past this has included helping brides into their dress, helping bridesmaids with tying bows on their dresses and pinning on button holes. Anything I can do to make sure my bride has the most amazing memories of a great start to a wonderful day.
