Love Will Conquer
Throughout these trying times we have been both humbled and inspired by your love for each other, your willingness to adapt and change your wedding plans and your enduring kindness.
Last week, BioNTech and co-developers Pfizer said preliminary analysis showed their vaccine could prevent more than 90% of people from getting Covid-19.
This incredible news lifted our hearts and we hope that you share our optimism at the thought that we can look forward to celebrating with loved ones and getting back to the life-affirming, joyful business of weddings.
We still don’t have a clear roadmap from the Government, but we wanted to give you an idea of how things look to be shaping up for weddings.
December 2020 to March 2021
Words cannot express how grateful we are to all the amazing couples who have worked with us since March to select their preferred option from our Covid-19 Response Policy.
Many of our couples, with dates booked between the end of lockdown and March 2021 are planning to say ‘I Do’ on their booked date and embrace whatever we’re allowed to do, without worrying too much about what won’t be possible.
You’ve had time to adjust to the idea of a small wedding and are working with our Event Managers to plan for an intimate celebration of love and togetherness.
We’re prepared for the likelihood that there will be continued restrictions in place as we exit lockdown and we’ll work with you to adapt and plan your perfect celebration accordingly.
Our hope is that the Government will respond to ongoing pressure from the wedding industry, to allow wedding venues to set their own wedding capacity based on our ability to accommodate social distancing guidelines (like pubs and restaurants.) This was the subject of a Parliamentary Debate earlier this month and we’ll keep you updated on any positive developments.
April to June 2021
There is such optimism for next year’s wedding season!
We would very much hope that significant developments in rapid testing, treatments and vaccines mean that by late Spring we will be able to host weddings with substantial guest numbers and almost all of the traditional elements we look forward to on a wedding day.
Positive developments in the global battle to defeat Covid-19 are being announced daily and the rewards for your patience at this time could be significant.
This week brought news of another major breakthrough in the race to develop a vaccine with Moderna announcing impressive results for their vaccine.
If your wedding is booked between April and June 2021 please be assured that our Covid-19 Response Team will begin contacting our April couples in the early part of next year and work their way through May couples to our June couples. We'll chat through all the options available and work together to find your perfect plan.
We know it’s difficult to ‘sit tight’ but things are set to look quite different in the New Year. Our dedicated Response Team will be in touch in the new Year to get your thoughts and feedback about your wedding plans.

July 2021 Onwards
By July, we hope that weddings as we know and love them, will be back in full swing and we cannot wait!

We’ll continue to be open and transparent about what we’re doing for our couples and we’ll continue to publish our Covid-19 Response Policy online while it remains relevant.
